The aim of this publication is to detail the procedures agreed upon by the NATO forces for use by NATO artillery units in order to produce timely and effective artillery support to manoeuvre units.
Owing to the wide variety of organizations and equipments within the NATO forces, this publication is concerned with fundamentals and does not, for the present, cover the complete range of technical artillery procedures.
