DESCRIPTION/PURPOSE
The system corrosion prevention and control plan describes the contractor's specific corrosion prevention and control measures to be implemented for the purpose of controlling corrosion. The plan will be used by the acquiring activity to evaluate the adequacy of the contractor's corrosion program in meeting the specific design, performance, and operational requirements contained in military specifications and standards and appropriate specifications.
