Part 1 of this Defence Standard is designed to achieve uniformity of practices and procedures in the applicable MOD calibration laboratories for the Calibration of Electronic and Mechanical Inspection and Test Equipment. The use of this standard will facilitate cooperation between laboratories and other bodies and assist in the exchange of information and experience.
