This specification covers-the requirements, quality assurance provisions and packaging for Detonating Cord (see 6.1).
The detonating cord covered by this specification shall be of the following types and classes as specified (see Table I).
Type I - contains PETN as major component of explosive core. Type II - contains RDX as major component of explosive core. Type III- contains inert powder as a major component of inert core.
