This Standard relates to an air-drying, gasoline-resistant, finishing paint which when applied to an appropriately primed metal surface is impact-resistant and is expected to protect the substrate for a period of five years under normal outdoor conditions in temperate climates.
Note: This paint is suitable for use on the exterior surfaces of gasoline containers, but should not be used as an internal coating.
