This specification covers salient pole and round rotor (cylindrical), continuous duty, 60 hertz (Hz), constant speed, single- and three-phase generators, up to 8000 kilowatts (kW).
This appendix covers information that shall be included in the certification/data report when specified in the contract or order. This appendix is mandatory only when data item description DI-MISC-80678 is cited on the DD Form 1423.
intended Use:
The 60-Hz ac generator will be used to provide ship service and emergency power when coupled to the prime mover specified in MIL-G-3087, MIL-G-21296 or MIL-G-22077.
