This specification covers the requirements for cotton ticking twill cloth.

The cotton ticking twill cloth shall be of the following types and classes as specified (see 6.2).

Type I - 9 ounces per square yard (8.5 oz. min.) Class 1 - Untreated Type II - 7 ounces per square yard (see 6.5 oz. min.) Class 1 - Untreated Class 2 - Treated Style a - Alternating unbleached or bleached white and blue stripe fabric Style b - Unbleached or bleached white fabric

intended Use:

The cloth is intended for use in the manufacture of mattress and pillow covers. Type I is used for pillows and types I and II are used for mattresses.
