Illustrating the wide range of current applications, and describing the general properties that make them possible, this Manual addresses aluminum extrusion from both the general and technical perspectives.

This Manual has been prepared by the Aluminum Extruders Council and The Aluminum Association, Inc. to stimulate the design creativity of potential users and to present the many opportunities afforded by aluminum extrusions. It highlights the best products and processes the aluminum extrusion industry has to offer. It is hoped that both current and potential users of extrusions will find this Manual to be a convenient and valuable reference document.
