scope:
This specification covers the general requirements for Audio Frequency Amplifiers used in Aircraft Intracommunication and Intercommunications Systems. The amplifiers are in-line type mounted on the helmet or in the oxygen mask. The amplifier shall be designed to operate with an input from a 5 ohm dynamic microphone and provide output to an intercommunication system such as the AN/AIC-14A.
Part numbers for amplifiers furnished under this specification shall be as follows: M23595/X-Y with "X" being the specification sheet number and "Y" being any variation of the amplifier on a specific specification sheet.
