This standard specifies the characteristics of nuts, hexagon, thin, with MJ thread, corrosion-resisting steel, used together with screws and bolts of ≤ 1 100 MPa nominal tensile strength for temperatures up to 315 °C with surface treatment according to code letter D and those for temperatures up to 425 °C with surface treatment according to code letter U, only subjected to shear loads and not subjected to tensile loads, for aerospace applications.
