PURPOSE. This procedure establishes the process for ensuring that Inspection, Measuring and Test Equipment (IMTE) is properly calibrated, maintained, and identified.
APPLICABILITY. This procedure applies to IMTE used to measure, gauge, test, inspect or otherwise determine compliance with prescribed technical requirements of a product, or an element of a product, within the Quality Management System (QMS).
