This specification covers FUZE, MULTI-OPTION: M734 (Less Booster and Lead) for use with the Army mortar systems (see 6.1). The M734 is a radio-type proximity fuze. Four selectable options are provided: Proximity (PRX), Near Surface Burst (NSB), Impact (IMP), and Delay after Impact (DLY). At least one backup is provided for all function selections except Delay after Impact.
