This specification covers the general requirements for medium-pressure, high-temperature, tetrafluorethylene hose fittings.
The fittings shall be the following types and classes listed as specified (see 6.2).
Class 1 - All corrosion-resisting steel (+450° F) Class 2 - Combination aluminum and corrosion-resisting steel (+275° F) (Lightwieght -8 size and larger) Type II - Maximum fluid operating temperature +275°F Type III - Maximum fluid operating temperature +450°F
