AIR FORCE - AF 127-7

SCAFFOLDING

active, Most Current
Organization: AIR FORCE
Publication Date: 1 October 1977
Status: active
Page Count: 23
scope:

This standard applies to all scaffolding used in the Air force. It specifies criteria for the assembly, correction, storage, and safe use of scaffolding. Since the Air Force primarily uses preformed tubular scaffolding, construction requirements for wooden pole scaffolding are not part of this standard. In the event an Air force organization must construct a wood scaffold, the design and material specifications contained in OSHA Standard 1910.28 will be followed. This standard does not apply to manually propelled mobile ladder stands, mobile work platforms, or mobile towers. (See AFOSH 127-9). This standard takes precedence if there are any conflicts in guidance between this standard and AFR 127-101.
