scope:
- This specification covers the general requirements for a parallel, frequency coded firing system consisting of one encoder and one or more decoders. Procurement of system components requires additional data provided on component drawings listed in Data List DL 154AS100.
- The parallel frequency coded-firing system is installed in an aircraft weapons-release circuit and consists of one encoder connected in parallel with from 1 to 15 decoders. These components are installed in weapon-release circuits of military aircraft to prevent accidental weapon release.
