This standard includes specification of test instruments and facilities, test installations and test procedures, and methods of calculation for determining airflow capacity, aerodynamic performance, and sound generation.
The test method in this standard applies to isothermal conditions. A method of calculating aerodynamic performance under non-isothermal conditions is also included.
