The DTMDCS uses dual transmission media (telephone link with backup cellular radio link) to assure successful notification of alarm and status change conditions.
The DTMDCS is intended to provide IDS alarm and system status data communications from one or more control units (also referred to as remote area data collectors, alarm panels, alarm controls, premise control units, etc.) which are located in the protected area, to a remotely located monitor console (Central Station, remote status monitor, etc.).
