This specification covers the overhaul and modification requirements to convert Remover, Aircraft Canopy: M8 metal parts assembly, to Remover, Aircraft Canopy: M8A1 metal parts assembly. This assembly will ultimately be loaded and used in conjunction with other propellant actuated devices in aircrew emergency escape systems.
Items to be modified under this specification to the M8A1 Remover configuration shall include the T18, T18E1 and M8 Remover.
