scope:
This specification covers installed hazardous location test equipment for aircraft, engine, guided missiles and related accessories and components thereof and shall become a part of a detailed specification by attachment or reference. Hazardous location equipment is defined as test equipment operating in a hazardous location due to explosive vapors or utilizing test fluids having a flash point of 170 °F or less, or when test conditions exceed the flash point of the test fluid.
intended Use:
- The test equipment is used to test various aircraft and missile components used in engine, hydraulic, fuel, and pneumatic systems.
