1.1 Scope.
This document is a summary of general-purpose thermal evaluation procedures. They are intended to identify and measure essential external and internal thermal conditions and/or functional performance of a device under expected thermal environments and/or various operating conditions such as activation frequencies and degrees of power loading. These are primarily quantitative evaluations rather than application specific procedures with predetermined pass/fail criteria.
