1 Scope This specification covers the requirements for black thermosetting powder paint. This coating is intended to act as a final topcoat that would provide a smooth, hard, corrosion and UV resistant finish. This coating is intended to be applied over metallic substrates that have been previously coated with either zinc phosphate (9984123), iron phosphate (9984006), e-coat (9984120), autodeposition primer (9984132,Grade D), or other GM approved pretreatments and/or primer.
