This Section of the Standard specifies the general test requirements for miniature gas coolers, employing the Joule-Thomson cooling principle, for use with infrared detector cells. It is to be used with the detail specifications in the PART 90 series of this Standard.
These coolers are designed to maintain the infrared cells at liquid gas temperatures.
