scope:
This performance specification covers the requirements for preparing technical manuals containing manual or automated calibration procedures. It does not apply to calibration procedures written for the exclusive use of the service's primary standards laboratories.
This performance specification contains paragraphs and requirements which are not applicable to all Services. Such paragraphs or requirements are prefixed to indicate the Services to which they pertain: (A) for Army; (N) for Navy; and (F) for Air Force.
The level of detail contained in this performance specification is necessary to comply with the requirements of the Joint Computer-aided Acquisition and Logistics Support (JCALS) system.
