This standard is applicable to any cable network having a coaxial cable output and primariy intended for television and sound signals operating between about 30 MHz and 2150 MHz. This standard lays down the basic methods of measurement of the operational characteristics of cable networks having coaxial cable outputs in order to assess the performance of those systems and their performance limits.
