This ETS describes the specification to be used for basic Teletex terminal equipment for use in the international Teletex service. This ETS is based on the relevant CCITT and ITU-T Recommendations. In order to provide guidance, modifications and/or additions are also contained and identified where necessary. NOTE: Throughout this ETS the term "Administration" should be taken to read as either "Administration" or "Recognised Private Operating Agency.
