This drawing covers the general requirements and tests for radiofrequency adapters between series and within series.
The complete part number shall be as specified on the item requirements drawing and constructed using the following format:
The DESC requirements drawing shall state the requirement values and design modifications required of the adapters to be acquired by the Government.
The adapter style shall be identified using table I as follows. (Interfaces shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-348 or MIL-A-27434, as applicable).
Example: Designation Series 10 TNC to TNC adapter 5 N to BNC adapter
Note: The designation "50" will indicate that the adapter style is defined on the requirements drawing. TABLE I. Adapter style part number matrix.
