This specification covers the requirements for an air dry, sandable, solvent-borne, final line repair primer sur-facer that is applied by spraying and is subsequently topcoated with an acrylic enamel color coat and/or a waterborne basecoat in combination with a solvent-borne clearcoat. The repair sur-facer is intended to be used in cut through areas where imperfections require a heavy easily sanded filling material. It is intended to provide a smooth, adhesion promoting, corro-sion resistant coating over previously applied primers or topcoats.
