This standard establishes design and documentation requirements which shall be completed prior to issue of a Flight Release or Airworthiness Release (AWR) to conduct helicopter Flight Testing on Pilotage and Target Acquisition/Designator System Sensors. It includes statements, analyses and preliminary analyses presenting the Pilotage and Target Acquisition Designation System/subsystem and guarantees a certain safety standard. The requirements may be tailored for each test.
