The standard specifies the procedure to be followed by purch aser at his receiving inspection in order to decide whether a lot of fasteners may be accepted or rejected when no other acceptance procedure has been agreed with the supplier at t he time of ordering the fasteners - Additional specific acce ptability requirements may be included within a specific pro duct standard (e.g, prevailing torque lock nuts) - The proce dure is also to be applied when conformance to specification is disputed
