This specification covers the general requirements for a synthetic hydrocarbon base hydraulic fluid for use in the -40° to +205°C temperature range in aircraft and missile hydraulic systems. The fluid is also used in air borne engine compressors and related equipment. This hydraulic fluid is identified by NATO Code Number H-537 (see 6.5).
