This specification covers glass test tubes for laboratory use.

Test tubes covered by this specification shall be of the following types, styles and sizes, as specified (see 6.1).

Type I shall be applicable to all styles of test tubes; type II shall be applicable to style I only.

Type I - Borosilicate glass Type II - Soda lime glass

Sizes, as shown, are dimensions--diameter and length in millimeters (mm.).
