This specification covers right angle offset, ratcheting screwdrivers, right-and left-hand turning, with removable bits, and with integral bits.
The screwdriver handles and bits shall be of the following types, classes, and sizes as specified (see 6.2):
Type I - Screwdriver, offset, ratcheting for removable bits. Type II - Bits. Class 1 - Flat tip. Class 2 - Crosspoint (Phillips). Class 3 - Crosspoint (Reed and Prince). Class 4 - Hexagonal key. Class 5 - Square key. Type III - Screwdriver, reversible, offset, ratcheting, with integral bits. Class 1 - Flat tip. Class 2 - Crosspoint (Phillips) tips. Class 3 - Crosspoint (Phillips, Reed and Prince) tips.
Type IV - Screwdriver, nonreversible, offset, ratcheting, with Integral flat tips. Type V - Screwdriver kit, offset, ratcheting handle w/removable bits. Size 1 - With four bits (see 3.10.1). Size 2 - With six bits (see 3.10.2).
