1.1 This test method covers the determination of solvent extractables in petroleum waxes.

1.3 This test method covers the determination of the acceptability of porous filter sticks used for filtration in Test Method D 3235. This method establishes the maximum pore diameter and also provides a means of detecting and measuring changes which occur from continued use.
