1.1 This test method covers the procedure for determining the shear strength of plastics in the form of sheets, plates, and molded shapes in thicknesses from 1.27 to 12.7 mm (0.050 to 0.500 in.).

1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only.
