This standard establishes a set of computer flow chart symbols for Automatic Data Processing System (ADPS) applications and provides for a template for diagramming the symbols. these standard flow chart symbols will be used in the preparation of flow charts which will provide the system analyst and computer -programmer with an easily understood graphic picture of a processing procedure.
