This standard has been prepared for the purpose of defining and illustrating the various kinds of pictorial drawings, with such additional information as may be necessary in the use of these drawings in industry.
Methods of constructing the various types of pictorials are beyond the scope of this standard and references should be made to some good engineering drawing text book to obtain such information.
