scope:
The scope of the publication shall be such as to provide Service personnel with the information needed to enable them to handle, to prepare, and to understand and perform intelligently all scheduled in-situ servicing tasks on the aircraft and its installed equipment. Sufficient information shall also be provided to assist in the detection, diagnosis, and rectification of random defects. The term "in-situ servicing" is intended to cover all servicing up to, but not including, bay servicing.
