This specification covers an amplifier intercommunication system for submarines to provide for the transmission of voice, call signals and electronically generated alarm signals to the various compartments and operating positions in a submarine. The AN/WIC intercommunication system consists of microphones, handsets, headsets, loudspeakers, audio amplifiers, signal generators, power supplies, control equipment, wiring junction boxes and test facilities.
