PURPOSE
This Marshall Work Instruction (MWI) provides instructions for requesting support from the Special Test Equipment (STE) Design Branch via the preparation and submission of an STE Design Branch Support Request Form, MSFC Form 4405. The Special Test Equipment Design Branch, ET22, is located within the Engineering Directorate's Test Laboratory. This MWI, in conjunction with ET22's Organizational Work Instructions (OWIs), satisfies the design requirements detailed in MPR 8060.2 (Non-Flight and Non-Facility Design and Development) and provides "use" and "control" requirements for Special Test Equipment documentation as detailed in section 3.2.2 of MPR 8040.1 (Configuration Management, MSFC Programs/Projects).
APPLICABILITY
This MWI is to be used by anyone requesting support from the STE Design Branch. It is also applicable to STE Design Branch personnel and support contractors.
