This instruction applies to minor land acquisitions in the United States, its territories and possessions, and covers acquisition by purchase, exchange, condemnation, and donation.
a. Real property acquisitions at a cost of not more than $50,000 necessary to support construction items in annual military construction programs are generally omitted from such programs as line items and, when so omitted, will be accomplished under reference (a) and this instruction.
b. Real property acquisitions at a cost of not more than $50,000 not included within or in support of an item in an annual military construction program, and not otherwise authorized, will be accomplished under reference (a) and this instruction.
