scope:

This Standard specifies thetechnical requirements for an ohmmeter, safety, multi-range, battery powered, setsuitable for pan-climatic use (hereinafter referred t o as the 'equipment'),safe to use in, the presence of explosives, for measuring the resistance of electricallyinitiated explosive device (EED) (wire bridge and conducting composition types)either individually or connected i n circuit.

Accuracy shall be maintained overwide temperature and humidity ranges

The equipment shall be safe t ouse i n the presence of strong electro- magnetic and/or electrostatic fields ,provided appropriate connectors and associated leads are used

The equipment shall comprise of:

1. Ohmmeter, Safety, Multi-Range,Battery Powered.

2. Satchel, Lead electrical.
