scope:

This specification covers requirements for the man's blue polyester/wool, gabardine, stand up collars.

The collars shall be of one type in the following widths and sizes as specified (see 6.2):

Schedule of Sizes Collar length (inches) 14-½ 15-¾ 16-¾ 17-¾ 15 16 17 18 15-¼ 16-¼ 17-¼ 18-½ 15-½ 16-½ 17-½ 18-¾ Width of Collars 1-¾ inches or 2 inches

NOTE: For collar sizes corresponding to coat sizes with which collar is worn, see 3.7 and 6.2. The collar described herein is intended to be worn on the Coat, Man's; Gabardine; Blue; by male personnel of the U.S. Marine Corps.
