This specification covers the requirements for a blue wool gabardine evening dress jacket. Beneficial comments (recommendations, additions, deletions) and any pertinent data which may be of use in improving this document should be addressed to the Commander (PSE-D), Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, VA 22134-5010 by using the Standardization Document Improvement Proposal (DD Form 1426) appearing at the end of this document or by letter.

The jacket will be of one type in the following sizes as specified (see 6.2):

When the jacket is custom tailored to an individual order, this specification shall govern, except the detailed requirements of Section 3, Table I may be modified to the extent necessary for good custom tailoring practices.
