This specification covers electric duct type heaters used in heating and ventilating systems aboard ship. Detailed requirements for heaters of standard low temperature types and general requirements for heaters other than the standard low temperature types are contained herein. It is intended that the standard low temperature types be utilized wherever heaters with their characteristics are suited to a particular application.
