This specification covers the general requirements for snap action, sensitive, and push switches, and switch assemblies (switches shall include switch assemblies, see 6.4.1) (see 6.1). For definitions of terms used in this specification, see 6.4.
The enclosure design is identified by a single digit in accordance with table 1. TABLE 1. Enclosure design (see 6.4.12).
