This standard specifies the minimum requirements for garments providing protection against liquid chemicals for parts of the body, e.g. aprons, sleeves and hoods. It specifies the performance requirements for the materials of construction of the protective clothing but not for the complete chemical clothing, as each individual garment may be worn with other garments.
