This document states the procedures to be carried out for the supply of petroleum products and may be an additional requirement in Procurement Executive, Ministry of Defence Contracts which invoke the Defence Standards 05-21, 05-24 or 05-29. It may also be used as a requirement of contract for supplies of petroleum products overseas where a Service is named as the Quality Assurance Authority.

This Requirement complies with the appropriate NATO Standardization Agieements (STANACS) for Petroleum Fuels, Lubricants and Associated Products.
