The materials defined by these specifications are a temporary transit coating and a remover with very low volatile organic compounds (VOC) content. The coating is applied over the topcoat enamel.

APPLICATION

These specifications were released originally for materials to protect the enamel topcoat from environmental fallout paint damage during transit from the assembly plant to the Dealer and during storage on the Dealer's lot. The remover is a solubilizer to be used by the Dealer to remove the protective transit coating prior to delivery to the Customer.
