scope:
The SEOC Program applies to all submarines. Procedures in the event operating cycles are exceeded apply to all submarines.
Purpose. a. To describe program elements, requirements and responsibilities for support of engineered operating cycle programs for submarines.
b. To issue actions required before exceeding established submarine operating cycles.
c. To extensively revise and update the basic instruction, extending applicability to both SSN and SSBN submarines and incorporating material assessment audit requirements of CNO ltr ser 221C/C382185 of 5 May 1982 for operating cycle extensions.
