This Standard defines the requirements of a terry cloth, made from cotton, for use as filters. These filters are used for filtering oil from distilled water for recirculation in ships having reciprocating engines. Cloth particulars are defined, including performance limits required in the cloth, when tested by the methods prescribed in this Standard.
